PEERLESS JAL HY SHIELD MATTE 5L

Built on advanced hybrid technology, Hy-Shield is an extraordinary new floor finish designed to give outstanding durability on hard vinyl floors such as vinyl sheets, vinyl tiles and vinyl planks. Other applications include slate, terrazzo, hard unglazed stone and quarry tiles, laminated floors and polished internal concrete floors. The finish is easy to apply and the ultra high solids formula builds rapidly during application to give maximum protection with fewer coats than normally needed with conventional polymer floor finishes. DAILY MAINTENANCE 1. Dust mop floor. 2. Scrub floor with an auto scrubber and red pads, using Peerless JAL Strobe Floor Maintainer diluted 1:80. 3. Trail mop behind scrubber with clean rinse mop. 4. Buff floor with high-speed burnisher and with burnishing pad. 5. Dust mop floor. STRIPPING & FINISHING 1. Dust mop entire area. 2. Use Peerless JAL Erazer Polish Remover 1:6 in a mop and bucket. 3. Apply liberal amounts of solution uniformly on floor with mop. Let solution soak for five minutes. Keep area wet - do not allow solution to dry on floor. 4. Scrub with an auto scrubber or a slow speed buffer and black pads. Detail edges with edging tool. Use stronger stripper dilution when detailing edges. 5. Apply clean water with auto scrubber and pick up dirty solution with squeegee down and vacuum on. Rinse floor a second time with the addition of a small amount of vinegar in the rinse water - this acts as a neutralizer. Trail mop behind scrubber with a clean rinse mop. 6. Buff floor with high-speed burnisher and dust mop. 7. Apply 3 medium coats of Peerless Jal Hy-Shield Hybrid Floor Finish. A medium coat is approx 40m² per litre. 8. Should additional finish be required allow at least 24 hours drying time before applying one (1) more medium coat after the floor has been scrubbed clean, buffed and dust mopped. IN ONE OR TWO WEEKS If desired, after one or two weeks when the finish has fully cured, a cut-back and re-coat may be executed. This will improve wear, increase time between stripping and finishing, and present the floor at its best. PERIODICALLY As determined, at periodic intervals as the finish wears from foot traffic, execute a cut-back and re-coat to extend the life and presentation of the coatings.
