3M™ Doodlebug™ 8550 High Productivity Utility Pad — Black

The 3M™ Doodlebug™ 8550 Black Utility Pad is the most aggressive pad in the Doodlebug™ colour-coded system, engineered for stripping and deep scrubbing tasks on resilient floor surfaces. It removes old wax, finish build-up, and heavy embedded soils where standard scrubbing pads won't cut through.

The Doodlebug™ system uses a hook-and-loop style attachment — no tools required to swap pads.

Usage Method

1. Apply an appropriate stripping solution to the floor according to the solution manufacturer's dilution instructions.
2. Allow dwell time as directed.
3. Attach the Black Utility Pad to the Doodlebug™ tool.
4. Scrub in a back-and-forth or circular motion, applying firm pressure.
5. Remove slurry with a wet vacuum or mop, then rinse thoroughly.
6. Allow to dry before applying new finish if required.

Replacement Cues

• Pad fibres are worn flat or unevenly loaded with soil that cannot be rinsed out
• Stripping performance noticeably declines despite correct chemical use
• Pad shows tearing, delamination, or loss of structural integrity
• Discolouration or odour that persists after rinsing

Regular rinsing during use extends pad life. Inspect after each job and replace when performance is compromised.

• Please allow up to 7 working days for delivery; however, delivery is typically within 1-3 days
• No weekend or after-hours delivery is available unless requested

• Replacements or repairs of items are sent via prepaid postage
• For any issues, please contact us, and we will work to resolve them
• Large parcels cannot be delivered to PO BOX addresses
• All parcels will be delivered via standard road freight with authority to leave at the premises unless specified otherwise
